Countdown to Inception

As some of you know, I am a huge Leo DiCaprio fan. Although I usually don’t like fantasy or sci-fi type films, I can’t wait to see Inception this Friday. Leo is such an amazing actor and everything he is in is top notch. Here are some facts about the film. Are you going to see it?

–During production, details of the film’s plot were kept secret. Christopher Nolan, who wrote the script, cryptically described it as a contemporary sci-fi action thriller “set within the architecture of the mind.”

–Early on, James Franco was in talks with Christopher Nolan for a role. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he was unavailable to join the cast. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was ultimately cast in the role offered to Franco.

–The labyrinthine style of the movie’s logo resembles the logo of Christopher Nolan’s production company Syncopy.

–Evan Rachel Wood was Christopher Nolan’s first choice to play Ariadne, but she turned it down.

–Leonardo DiCaprio was Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan’s only choice for the role of Cobb.

  2. I can’t wait for this film! I love everything Leo does! Huge fan of Joseph Gordon Levitt, Ellen Page and Marion Cotillard too so this should be so good!

  3. Thanks for the trivia! I’m really excited for this movie too, even if I still have no clue what it’s really supposed to be about, lol. I’ll have to watch one of the newer trailers this week. Leo is one of the best actors working today, in my opinion. He is so versatile. I don’t think I’ve ever disliked anything he’s done! Not to mention, I’m excited to see Marion Cotillard too.

  4. He’s an excellent actor. I’ve seen the previews for this movie and it looks like the special effects alone will be worth going to see it.

  5. Im a huge Leo fan as well so I cant wait. I only saw the trailer once or twice a while back so I dont quite remember what it entailed, but I plan to keep it that way so it stays as more of a surprise to me. He was amazing in Shutter Island so Im excited to see him in this film.
