Hermione Grows Up

Yes, I am counting down the days until the last Harry Potter film arrives next month.  I fought the series for years, but when I finally picked a copy up, I was obsessed.  Hermione Granger has been my favorite character.  I’ve watched her grow up into a beautiful, young woman.  This is also true of the stunning Emma Watson, who plays Hermione.

I was jumping for joy when my new issue of Vogue came in the mail today.  The images of Emma are breathtaking and I’m speechless, for once.  Check out these tights in the image above?  What do you think?  Will you miss her as Hermione?  Isn’t she lovely?

  1. there are so many things to love here…I don’t even know where to begin…her PERFECT lipstick is beyond gorgeous…
And those tights are UNBELIEVABLE…if I wasn’t afraid I would snag them the moment I put them on..I would be all over that trend for early fall.
First time stopping in over from Join the Gossip….Following along now:) Also a thirytsomething obsessed w fashion. C

  2. She looks beautiful! she looks all grown up! I haven’t gotten in to the Harry Potter books I need to get on it! I love to read and need to check out your book! have a wonderful day doll. xo

  3. Doh! I just re-read what I wrote and I think it sounded different than how I intended. lol

I am very glad to see that she is doing something classy and mature and evolved, not taking off half her clothes and screaming “look at me, look at me” with inappropriate comments for the media’s benefit… much like other actresses her age are doing.

This photo shoot makes her the perfect role model!! Classy, polished and fabulous ;)

  4. I would never have recognized her. To be completely honest, I thinks she is a stunning and gorgeous girl, and this is an amazing photo shoot oozing with fabulous garments and accessories… but… I think … she looks far older than she actually is… To me these photos look like she is in her late 20′s rather than her early 20′s. It is a very classy shoot, perhaps that is what brings the maturing into it.

  5. Oh yes…I will miss her…I love her as Hermione and boy has she every grown up to be stunning!

    Thank you for sharing. xoxoxo
    Happy new week to you.

  6. Fabulous post! I, too, adore those tights — how fun!! The last movie is so bittersweet. It’s hard to believe that there won’t be another HP movie to look forward to.

  7. Kori isn’t she just beautiful!! She has grown up in a most lovely way!

  10. I didn’t start reading them until the last book came out. I enjoy reading them over and over again. I can’t wait until the final film comes out. It’ll be a happy and sad day.

    Emma is GORGEOUS!

  11. she is sooo beautiful! And i love her short hair… I’m sure she has plenty of plans for future roles that we’ll love too!

  12. She’s done what a lot of other young actresses didn’t quite manage — evolved into a beautiful, fashionable, still grounded young woman.
