Pan Am

Have you heard the news?  ABC has a new show, called “Pan Am.”  I’m so excited about this one.  Pan Am was the premier airline from 1927 until the 1970’s or so.  The show takes place in the 60’s so you know there is going to be some fabulous fashion.  It kind of reminds me of Mad Men on a jet.  Make sure you tune in on September 25 to see it and let me know what you think!

  1. I really hope I remember that this is on. I’ll definitely be setting my DVR for this one. And I must say I’m really excited about a few of the “new” shows this fall (and this would be one of them). Period pieces always rock!

  2. I’ll look forward to this. Once upon a time it was glamourous to travel by air. Not now sadly with near strip searches and badly paid pilots and stewardesses. In the early days of British air travel in the 1920s when the rich set popped over to Paris – they had fresh cooked meals on board !

  3. Apparently I have been living under a rock, because this is the first i am hearing about this show. With that being said!! WOO-HOO!! This show should help me with my MAD MEN withdrawls until March 2012. Very stylish……..LOVE IT!! Thanks for posting the trailer, I have already watched it 3 times : )

  4. I’ve been excited for this show for a while now. Lela Bella you took the words out of my mouth- that show sounds like it will be right up my alley as well!

  5. Oh my goodness I’ve been SO excited to see this! Is it a little nerdy that I’ve put a reminder on my phone so that I don’t forget to record it? Haha. I’m sure the 1950’s type fashion that Mad Men started this season. Love it!

  6. I remember hearing about Pan Am! This show sounds like it’s right up my alley… the 60’s were one of my fave decades! Yay! Hot pilots and 60’s fashion? I’m so there!

  7. My first airplane ride was on Pan Am, so it holds a special place in my heart :) Though the uniforms were not quite as cute in 1988 as they were in the 60’s. It looks like it could be good!

  8. YES! I heard about this show a few months ago and have been following everything about it. I’m so excited for this show… it’s going to be so glamorous, exciting, and fun! I’m already loving the outfits, music and setting :)
