Falling for Fall by Pink Preppy Lilly Lover

August 17, 2011

Hello dear readers!
I’m Trish from Pink Preppy Lilly Lover,
and I am thrilled to be filling in for Miss Kori while she is enjoying her very well deserved vacation!

Kori always finds the most beautiful things to post for my Pink and Green Thursday blog linkup, and I love playing along with her for her series, Fashion Fridays.  One thing Kori and I definitely share a mutual passion for is all things inspired by fashion!   When I think about shopping this time of year, although it is hard to pack away the bikinis and seersucker and say farewell to summer, leather riding boots and cozy cashmere sweaters start calling my name, and I can’t help but get excited for the fun fall fashion transition.

H&M’s newest ad campaign for Fall 2011 featuring the lovely Sasha Pivovarova just speaks right to my heart with the warm rich tones, layering with dresses and vests, and of course lots of opaque tights with boots.  How could you not fall in love with fall with looks so cute and affordable?

What are your favorite looks for fall?  Please share!
Thanks so much for having me, Kori!
You can always find me blogging here, on twitter, on tumblr, or on pinterest.
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
xoxo
Trish

My grandpa was an amzanig man. He always made me laugh. Im so proud to have him as a grandpa. He always smiled and loved everyone. I brought my friends over sometimes and my friends loved him too. He was the greatest man i have ever known. I will always remember the fun times we had together as i was growing up. He helped me with so many of my problems he was a big part of helping me become the woman i am today. I know he is looking down on me and wants me to keep making the right choices. Im gonna make him proud even though he isnt here in person i know he is here with me in spirit. Im so lucky to have had him in my life. I love him still to this day and will for eternity! See you in heaven grandpa! I love you!

I’m very saddened to hear of Mark’s painssg and would like to let you, his family, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have very fond and precious memories of Mark from when I was a child, living on James St. and also on Nevada St. 37 years is a long time to be away from someone, but I have never, nor will I ever forget him. His friendship meant a lot to my mom, my brother and I. Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures of Mark, his warm smile will forever be etched in my mind and in my heart. With my deepest sympathy and prayers for strength and encouragement,Sincerely,Renee (Houghton) Dickson
