Now that 2015 is coming to a close (*gasp*), it’s time to review who made the biggest statement fashion-wise this year. Harper’s Bazaar put together a list of the 100 Best Dressed Celebrities of 2015, and here are a few of my favorites. Do you agree?
Good Morning!! It’s finally cooled down a bit here, I thought I was in Hawaii for a hot second it’s been so humid! I’ve mentioned a few times that one of my favorite fashion illustrators is Hayden Wright. His latest series called “Jet Set,” reminds us that we need to take a fabulous vacation once in a while. Whether you’re traveling to a tropical locale or something more suited for a wonderful fur coat, it’s important you take time out for a breather in this crazy life. Do you have any fun trips planned? Do share!!! What’s your favorite vacation spot? Take a look at the collection by Hayden Wright.
Don’t fret, the weekend is almost here! The Fall issues of my favorite magazines are on their way and although I’m normally fighting going back to school (work), this year, I have to admit I’m pretty excited! It’s going to be triple digits here today, but I’m longing for the days I can wear rich jewel tones and fun jackets.
The September issue of Harper’s Bazaar features some great fashion icons across time, from Lauren Hutton to Lady Gaga (I’m not a fan). What I love about the feature is that they’re all wearing fishnet stockings or material in some way. My favorite shots were of the famed 90’s supermodels like Linda Evangelista and Stephanie Seymor. Can we talk about how they’ve aged? OMG we can only dream to look that good at their age right? So, which photo is your favorite? You can check out the rest of the photos here. Have a great Thursday!

With a love of fashion definitely comes a love of fashion illustrations. At least for me anyway. I love the sketches that some artists are able to come up with that show their love of the frock and the movement it allows. So, of course when I saw mention of a fashion illustration book called The Hundred Dresses, I just had to get it. What I love about the book is that it showcases the styles that have been popular throughout the years and the stories behind the iconic looks. If you’re familiar with the historical children’s book by the same same, this version is based on that one. Take a look at some of my favorite illustrations from the book.

Fashion week has made its way to Milan and I always love to see what the gorgeous Italians are wearing. Once again photographer Diego Zuko captures some really fun looks, especially that gorgeous red tutu-like skirt and those green boots!!! What do you think?
