![1900's -- Corsets. Internal organ damage, broken ribs, hours to get dressed—there is such thing as doing too much for fashun and corsets are it.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-01-1900s-gettyimages-2664441.jpg)
Have you ever wondered how some fashion trends ever got started or became so popular??? I’m a child of the 80’s and a teenager of the 90’s and I’ll admit, I was a victim to quite a few horrible fashion trends during those years. Harper’s Bazaar is giving us a list by decade showing us the worst fashion trends across the years. Don’t feel bad if you’ve been caught wearing one of these, we’ve all done it!! Take a look. I’d love to hear about your horrible fashion trend…mine was definitely neon and big hair.
![1910's -- The Hobble Skirt. Sure they look chic, but walking in these heavy and constricting floor-length hemlines is no easy task. Imagine wearing a tight, ankle-length pencil skirt and having no choice but to move at a glacial pace: no fun.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-02-1910s-gettyimages-2638808.jpg)
![1920's -- The Cloche Hat. Unless you're going for the look of an overgrown infant, this hat trend is better left for newborn babies.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/gallery-1470237924-gettyimages-3314332-1.jpg)
![1920's -- Bathing Suit Dresses. Props to all the women who managed to stay afloat whilst swimming in these taffeta dresses.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-20s-gettyimages-82874980.jpg)
![1930's -- T-Strap Shoes and Heeled Oxfords. Listen, I know the people of the '30s were going through a lot of things but there was no reason to act out by wearing this tragic footwear, now better known as vintage Taylor Swift shoes.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/gallery-1470242544-hbz-1930s-shoes.jpg)
![1940's -- Mini Bowler Hats. Fact: miniature hats flatter very few heads.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-40s-gettyimages-3351896.jpg)
![1950's -- White Gloves. Elegant? Yes. Practical? No. How is one supposed to indulge in finger food while wearing these?](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-50s-gettyimages-2664377.jpg)
![1950's -- Poodle Skirts. Look, everyone loves poodles but that isn't good enough reason to embroider them onto a skirt.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-50s-gettyimages-50649783.jpg)
![1960's -- Patterned Tights. Whoever thought that multi-colored, multi-patterned tights would flatter ANY HUMAN'S legs was seriously mistaken.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-60s-gettyimages-169077131.jpg)
![1960's -- Babydoll Dresses. Being an adult is pretty terrible but dressing like a small child is equally terrible and next-level creepy.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-60s-gettyimages-508218943.jpg)
![1970's -- Sweater Vests. Aside from really serving no purpose whatsoever, sweater vests are truly flattering on no one.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-70s-gettyimages-139758867.jpg)
![1980's -- Leg Warmers. Is it even humanly possible for someone's calves to get chilly while working out? Please advise.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-80s-gettyimages-84934759.jpg)
![1980's -- Sweatbands. Just when you thought the act of sweating couldn't get any more unappealing, this "accessory" became a thing.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-80s-gettyimages-173137456.jpg)
![1990's -- Color-Tinted Sunglasses. Proving the world doesn't always look better through rose-colored glass.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-90s-gettyimages-111154873.jpg)
![1990's -- T-Shirts Over Long-Sleeved Shirts. I would follow Rachel Green if she jumped off a bridge but this I cannot find the logic in or get behind at all.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-90s-friendscookieshirt.jpg)
![2000's -- The Velour Tracksuit. Spearheading this time of bad sartorial decisions was the ubiquitous velour tracksuit. Everyone and their mother (literally) had a tracksuit to style with a cami underneath and a logo bag in tow. Bonus points if you had a pair with the word "Juicy" across the butt--super chic.](https://blondeepisodes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hbz-worst-trends-2000s-tracksuit_1.jpg)
