Hello all, I’m a little behind on my blogging. My dad helped my brother and sister-in-law move back from Ohio, and overdid it. He ended up in the ER yesterday and after many tests, they think he has bulging discs in his back, and one possible herniated disc. He is in so much pain and is still in the hospital. They are hoping to send him home today. I am worried about him and my mom, she worries so much about everything. So, I’m a little busy! I had to do the Thanksgiving shopping for the first time on my own today and am feeling really responsible!
Please pray for him to heal and that he can come home for Thanksgiving. In the meantime, I am going to extend the Christmas Giveaway until Friday so things settle down. Please continue to enter and spread the word, and I will draw on Saturday. Hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. I know what I’m thankful for–my family and my health. What about you?
So sorry to hear about your dad’s problems, Kori – he will definitely be in my prayers. Back trouble is very rough from the few folks I’ve known that had it – hopefully the docs will take care of everything well.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving otherwise! We did the traditional family deal – we live next door to my in-laws (it’s not as bad as it sounds…REALLY) – and, my mom lives at best a mile away, so it’s a pretty easy matter to gather together. Glad to hear your family is moving back close to you again- hope all turns out well!
KIG, Kori!!!

I am sure your dad is going to be just fine but I will keep him and your sweet family in my prayers.
Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and blessed Thanksgiving my friend.
They are so lucky to have you Blondie! We will keep a prayer for perfect healing for your Dad…and perfect peace for you, your mom and the rest of the family. A blessed and happy Thanksgiving to you all.
Good thoughts to you and yours.
Warmly,
Tracey

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Praying your dad gets better! Loved the post on Billy the Kid.
Ohh Happy Thanksgiving!! =)
I’ll be keeping your family in my prayers, as well as the doctors taking care of your dad.
Thanksgiving is always exciting isn’t it?
On a similar note, please pray for my family, too. We lost a dear friend a few days ago, and my grandfather passed away this time two years ago, so it’s not an easy time for us.
Keep your chin up and don’t forget to smile that fabulous smile of yours – a kind face, a smile, and a sense of humor are the best medicine for someone who is in pain, and I know your mom and dad are grateful that you’re there with them.
Now that your sister-in-law is back in town, she can help with all the holiday cooking, right? : )
