As you know, I am completely hooked line and sinker on Mad Men. It is an amazing show and I haven’t been this obsessed since I first began watching True Blood. Because of my new love, I am going to do a short series on the actors and locations included in the show.
The first one I’m going to focus on is Christina Hendricks. Christina plays Joan Holloway and is amazing. Not only is she gorgeous, but I can’t wait to see what she has on each episode. Here is some information about her and some amazing photos of her. What do you think?
Hendricks was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho from third through eighth grade. In 1989, her family moved to Fairfax, Virginia, where Hendricks appeared in several high school plays and local community theater. She got her start acting in Junior Musical Playhouse productions, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
One of my favorite things about Christina Hendricks is she has an hourglass figure to die for. In a society where women feel the need to be sickly skinny, it’s nice to see someone with curves.
Although she is known for her red hair, Hendricks is a natural blonde and has been dying her hair red since she was ten years old.

She has such a gorgeous body! Interesting to know she dyes her hair red. I can’t imagine her with blonde hair. The red suits her skin tone so well.
