Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the Superbowl–Go Saints! I visit Disneyland at least once a week, sometimes more, and there are few places I love more. I try to learn everything I can about the Magic Kingdom, including inside secrets (to come later in a future post). Here are some pics of Disneyland in the good old days. Check out the one of Main Street before it was finished, and the day the park closed in honor of JFK’s death. Have a great night friends!

I’ve never been to Disneyland but I grew up going to Disneyworld when we’d take family vacations to Florida (my mom is from there originally). It’s been 10 years since my last visit and I’m just aching to go again! I love to watch those shows on the Travel Channel that highlight the parks and show behind the scenes stuff.
“once a week”?! You lucky gal! I wish I could go that often. I’m such a Disney fan. I go to Disneyland Paris 2 or 3 times a year. Last summer I went to Disney World for the first time, which was splendid! And I went to Disneyland once about 10 years ago. I can’t wait to go again. I dream of Disney.
Have a lovely week!

Oh! – a post close to my heart! I’ve never been to Disneyland, but go for a week every year to Disneyworld.
Is there anyone of us who doesn’t remember “Uncle Walt” with absolute love? He was the epitome of kindness, generosity, and all things right with the world. He truly believed in fairy tales coming true, and we believed along with him; he believed in wishes and dreams and the most diminutive of all things having the ability to become bigger and grander than life. He put a pair of red shorts on a whimsical mouse and gave the world an empire.
I’d better stop. I’m already getting teary and wordy. Thanks so much for giving me my daily dose o’ Disney!
I’ve never been to California, let alone Disney Land. Several times I have been to Disney World in Florida, but I hear that Disney Land is much larger.
I absolutely adore Disney! And we go once a week too – only we go to Disney World! Thank you so much for posting these fun pics.

Walt Disney was a genius. The amount of creativity that he had is insane! I love learning about him and where he found his multiple inspirations for creating different parts of both Disneyland and Disneyworld. I think he passed away before construction began on Disneyworld, but he made up a lot of plans for it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney! I just took my daughter for her first trip this past September. We will be making another trip sometime this year. I really want to go at Christmas one year. Thanks for the post…I look forward to learning the inside secrets 😉
