Some of you already know, but I’m a bit of a classic film buff. I love the thriller/mystery genre the best, but definitely appreciate the films of old days where everything was so much different. I appreciate a great movie, especially something new and exciting, but prefer classics like “Dark Passage” and “Double Indemnity.” Harper’s Bazaar recently put together a list of what they think are the most fashionable films of all time. I agree with a few, some I’m not so sure. But, here’s the list. Do you agree? Happy Monday!
1. How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) starring Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, and Lauren Bacall.
2. High Society (1956) starring Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra.
3. Charade (1963) starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant.
4. Valley of the Dolls (1967).
5. Barbarella (1968).
6. The Great Gatsby (1974).
7. Grease (1978).
8. Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985).
9. Heathers (1989).
10. Basic Instinct (1992).
11. Pulp Fiction (1994).
12. Clueless (1995).
