Christmas means different things to different people – some people love it and some people hate it. I absolutely love it, but even so, I recognize that Christmas has its good and bad points (ok maybe not so bad):
Where do I start? I love everything from spending time with my extended family on Christmas Day to choosing presents and receiving them and even preparing the food. One of my favorite new traditions is to get out and look at the lights with some yummy hot chocolate.
As a child, I found it very difficult to get to sleep on Christmas Eve, so my mom and dad would put us to bed fairly late so we could sleep through Santa coming. I would often get up as early as 5am to open my presents.
Perhaps the only thing I don’t like about Christmas is choosing and writing Christmas cards. I can never seem to find the perfect card. They’re either not celebrating the true meaning of Christmas (Christ’s birth), or they’re way to sugary sweet. I also get a hand cramp writing them all out haha. That being said, I still make the effort and I even send out thank-you cards (courtesy of http://www.instantprint.co.uk/greetingcards) for making each Christmas so special.

I love everything about Christmas! I think maybe the best thing is when you finish everything (just in time, usually) and you can enjoy the anticipation and excitement! I love finding the perfect thing for people. Some people in my life are so much easier to find the perfect thing for, but I try to do something really personal for at least a few people. Some years, my loved ones get just fun things or things they need but sometimes I’ll do special things, like photo gifts, ect. There’s usually something that I cannot WAIT to give someone!
