I’m a bit of a history buff, some of you already know that. Well, maybe that’s putting it lightly. I’m obsessed with history, most specifically American history and all that it has to offer. When I begin studying something, I dive right in and try to learn as much as I possibly can about the topic. With the anniversary of JFK’s death (November 22, 1963), many television stations have been broadcasting various documentaries and specials on the story of his untimely death. I’ve always been fascinated with the events of the day, but also like others am interested in Jacqueline Kennedy and her life story. She appeared so stoic and put together after the death of her husband. I can’t imagine watching the events of that day unfold the way she did.
Pablo Larrain’s new biopic, Jackie, starring Natalie Portman might just feed my obsession. The director shares some photos with us from the film. All photos and information are courtesy of Vanity Fair Magazine. The film comes out this Friday, December 2 and I can’t wait to see it. Will you go?
